Recycling
Township Recycling McLeod County Highway Department, has placed a large roll-off recycling container at the County Highway site located at the corner of State Hwy 7 and Falcon Avenue. This site is open 24/7 and accepts residential single-sort recycling. This site is not for business use.The County reserves the right to remove recycling locations due to the costs incurred handling contamination or responding to illegal dumping. Be aware and help us curb these unacceptable activities.
Fire Permits
Effective February 9th, 2022 permission for open burning is extended to all residents in the County without the need for individual or written permits. Prior to starting an open burn, the person is responsible to contact the McLeod County Sheriff’s office for confirmation that no burning ban or burning restrictions are in place at 320-864-3134 prior to burning.
